A Message from our Pastor
Welcome to Wheat and Tares Ministries
On behalf of First Lady, Lynette, the Wheat and Tares family and myself we take great joy in welcoming you to our website. Whether you are a new family, a potential volunteer, or church leader, it is our earnest desire that you will connect and "growt together" through the Word that you see, read and/or learn on our website and be encouraged. Our prayer is that throughout this website, you are able to glean something that will help you through this upcoming week.
Wheat and Tares is a multi-cultural ministry of excellence through commitment. We are seeking to know the Lord and to change our environment into a healthy place of fellowship and growth. Our mission is, “Focused on the Father, Centered on Christ, Led by the Holy Ghost” which will enable us to “Seek the Lost, Heal the Wounded and Strengthen the Believer.” We endeavor to accomplish this mission by helping men, women, teens and children embrace Christ as Saviour and come to a place where we all can “Grow Together” in Christ as one body of Believers. If you are in need of restoration, we invite you to trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord. He is able to meet your every need and He has sent the Holy Spirit to comfort and aid you in whatever situation confronts you.
Again, thank you for visiting. We stand ready to assist and minister to you and your family.
Yours in His Service,
G. Eddie Patten, Sr., Pastor
"Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn."
We welcome you at our services on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or needs.
